The Molecule Cannaisseur Review - Peanut Butter Souffle (cannabis strain)

Hi Mieko! Thanks for the opportunity of allowing me to provide you with my humble opinion about a spectacular strain cultivated by Thrive Society. Today I’m reviewing a Hybrid-Indica-Dominant strain called “Peanut Butter Souffle.”

This strain resulted from crossing the stunning indica dominant strains, “Do-si-Dos” and “Lava Cake.” As a result, a high potency strain was obtained with a total THC of 30% with cannabinoids 36%, and 4% terpene profile.

It has a suggested profile ratio of 60% indica and 40% sativa, making “Peanut Butter Souffle” a very nicely balanced strain that provides the consumer with relaxation effects but keeps you functional and in an enjoyable mood.

Appearance and Flavor

Trichomes beautifully cover the buds, providing a super frosty appearance with a delightful resin coat that sticks to your fingers. With a spicy-sweet, nutty pungency aroma, it promises delicious flavors with relaxing effects without knocking you out entirely.

Because it possesses euphoric-uplifting-sativa characteristics it will keep you up and running. With many different terpenes found in the analytic profile, the main three I will highlight include:

  • Myrcene – This terpene provides earthy, fruity notes and common "couch-lock" sedative effects. Myrcene is also associated with anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects. There’s scientific evidence that supports the potential of myrcene to help treat conditions and symptoms such as multiple sclerosis, insomnia, arthritis, inflammation, and pain.
  • Beta-Caryophyllene – It provides this strain with unique aromatic tones of herbal spiciness mixed with hints of wood. Mostly found in hemp strains and plants like black pepper, hops, rosemary, oregano, and cinnamon. This terpene is commonly associated with analgesic and stress relief effects, causing relaxation and lower anxiety levels.
  • Limonene – is the second most commonly occurring terpene in nature and one of the three (3) primary terpenes of the cannabis flowers. Limonene provides this unique citrusy, fruity, and refreshing smell associated with energizing properties. In addition, limonene is frequently used in chemo preventive therapies because of its anxiolytic and anti-depressant properties.

My Experience

  • Relaxation – The mood booster effect sets your body into a couch-locked bliss, providing a sedative state.
  • Euphoric – This mood will turn into a heavy hunger that will make you go for a few snacks.
  • Happy – Promotes stress-relieving and anxiety-relieving feeling effects.

Conclusion

Overall, I would rate this sun-grown (cannabis) flower strain full of dense green buds and purple and amber crystal trichomes my highest rating of five. I thoroughly enjoyed sharing my experience with you and hope it helps inform other patients.
